First Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs, Director, B1 Directorate for Strategic Planning, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Dimitrios Chalepidis was born in Athens. He got his degree in Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (School of Law, Economics and Politics) and continued for post-graduate studies at the Universities of Manchester and London School of Economics, where he obtained his Master’s Degree. In 1986 he succeeded in the entrance exams of the National School of Public Administration.
As of December 2016 he is the Director of B1 Directorate for Strategic Planning.
He has worked as a Commercial Counselor at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the European Union and at the Offices of Economic and Commercial Affairs in Tehran, Istanbul, Madrid and Paris.
He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Mr. Chalepidis is married to Mrs Flora Skargioti.
